Thomson Bike Products was born in the mid 1990s when founder Lorenzo H "Ronnie Thomson used his engineering skills to manufacture a unique seatpost for his daughter, a team cyclist at University. Rather than following the blueprints of other manufacturers, Thomson created a one-piece seatpost that was made from lightweight materials but strong enough to withstand the ever evolving, and ever growing pressures of cycling. Since that day the Thomson brand has never looked back and Thomson Bike Products are now sold around the world with their product range now including stems, dropper posts and handlebars in addition to their advanced and high-performance seatposts that helped put the name on the map.
