Founded in 1990 with the aim of creating the most innovative and high performing sports products and equipment, Ultimate Sports Engineering - or USE as their branch of cycling components is referred to - started out by producing suspension seatposts before extending their range of quality cycle components within a matter of years. Today, USE are known for not just their seatposts, carbon handlebars and components; but also for their range of bike lights which help to improve visibility for cyclists and also the visibility of cyclists. Ultimate have come a long way since the early days of producing seatposts in their original premises in Bury in West Sussex; and while they still remain on the site the company itself has grown to become one of the leading producers of cycling components in the United Kingdom with a reputation that is starting to spread itself overseas, too, with USE components used by the King of the Mountains at the Tour de France.
