The All Season 11Storm model of the Hutchinson Fusion 5 Road Tyre family is designed to provide high levels of performance and grip in all weather, perfect for long intensive outings.

The tyre is constructed from a rubber compound called 11Storm which has been proven in independent tests to provide lower rolling resistance, more durability and better grip to the previous best compounds available. For the All Season Hutchinson worked on a specific compound thickness (1.6mm) with a tailored particle size to favour durability and grip on wet roads. With a Kevlar reinforcement under the tread, this tyre will reassure the most nervous rider and offers superior durability.

All the tyres in the Fusion 5 range feature a Road Tubeless Ready design. This technology has several benefits, the main being puncture resistance. The absence of an inner tube eliminates the risk of punctures due to impact/pinch or burst. Comfort is also increased due to the opportunity to ride at a lower tyre pressure so less feedback from the road’s defects. There’s also increased grip thanks to a greater deformation of the tyre in curves and improved performance due to no internal frictions with an inner tube.

If the tyre is to be used as part of a tubeless set-up Hutchinson recommend using their Protect’Air MAX latex sealant to guarantee airtightness. If there is a puncture, the sealant acts to fill the hole (until 3mm) and repair the tyre. However, the tyre can also be fitted to a standard rim and with an inner tube.
