Bike Brake Pads
Brake pads come in a variety of shapes, sizes and materials to suit different brakes types and intended uses. Disc brake pads for example often come in to forms; resin (often called organic) or metal (often referred to as sintered). Resin brake pads use softer compound materials so offer mre immediate braking power, but are susceptible to being noisy when hot and don’t last as well as metal pads in wet conditions. Metal or sintered pads, last better in wet or hot conditions but do not offer as much outright power. Rim brake pads often come in a variety of compounds as well to suit different rim types, as carbon and alloy rims use different pads. We offer a huge range of brake pads to suit all your needs, so if your brakes are in need of some love, you’re in the right place!
