Launching in 1985, Giro have always been at the forefront of cycling helmet design, from the first Advantage aero helmet launched in 1985 to help riders beat the wind in the new sport of Triathlon, through to the convertible MTB Switchblade helmet of 1998, a helmet nearly 15 years ahead of its time, and the 2003 Xen helmet many still see as the benchmark by which all other trail MTB helmets are measured against. Giro’s range has expanded beyond helmets and now includes a range of cycling shoes and apparel, alongside various limited edition and collaboration pieces. Giro helmets and shoes are designed to perform beautifully and last a lifetime and this extends down to their entry level ranges.
