The second version of the Renthal Fatbar Carbon has undergone a full structural re-design. In keeping with the demand for wider, gravity oriented handlebars, Renthal have increased the width to 800mm.

Renthal's proven full UD carbon construction is the key ingredient of the Fatbar Carbon. With careful and efficient use of material, Renthal have massively reduced the weight to a staggering light 225g, which is incredible for a downhill-strength, 800mm wide handlebar. This has been achieved with more efficient use of material, removing any excess to reduce weight, whilst retaining the strength, durability and flex characteristics as the original Fatbar Carbon.
The Renthal Fatbar Carbon has already gained cult status, as the handlebar of choice for World Cup downhill. Six World Championship gold medals have been won using the Fatbar, cementing it as one of the most successful race products of all time.
