The Shimano PD-T8000 XT SPD Road Pedals have been specifically designed with road touring and commuting in mind. With these pedals you can enjoy the best of both worlds with a flat pedal platform on one side and a SPD clip-in style on the other side.
- SPD has low profile platform height with large platform contact area for excellent support and stability
- Lightweight and high performance using a forged alloy body and chrome-moly axle with a sealed cartridge axle system for reliability and simplified low maintenance
- Easy entry system with tension adjustment provides plenty of support and holds the cleat firmly in place
- Built in reflectors adds visibility in low light conditions
- Includes SM-SH56 multi release cleat
If you like to mix up your riding a bit, then these pedals are perfect for you with the ability to run them as standard flat pedals or as SPD pedals. They provide great stability and support whichever way you choose to use them thanks to their large platform. They are easy to clip in and out of and there’s easy entry adjustment for the perfect set-up. The bearings are sealed in a cartridge which means low maintenance and there’s built in reflectors to increase your visibility when the light fades. All these great features make them ideal for road riding in general, your daily commute or for touring adventures.
