SQlab 621 Ergolux Active 2.1 Saddle

SQlab’s 621 Ergolux Active 2.1 Saddle is their city and comfort version and is now updated and improved to make it even better. A lighter shell with an increased adjustment range and a completely newly developed technology for the Comfort active system, which is now adjustable via a switch function. New are also integrated threads for the mounting bags. The new 621 ERGOLUX® active 2.1 offers even more comfort with the same level of relief and a narrower saddle nose for more legroom.

• More support  - The raised rear provides additional support to the rear and ensures direct power transmission to the pedal.
• Comfortable sitting position - The contact surface is significantly larger due to the double wave, which means that the sit bones sink in less deeply. In addition, the 621 ERGOLUX® offers more volume in the padding, the foam can thus become slightly softer.
• Relieving - The lower saddle nose in combination with the slight depression in the middle relieves the sensitive perineal area. The flat, only very slightly curved shape of the saddle nose results in a maximum contact surface with correspondingly less pressure.
• Back friendly - The SQlab active saddle technology enables a physiological co-movement of the pelvis. Spinal discs and facet joints can thus be relieved. In particular, the mobilisation of the spinal discs is clearly noticeable.
• Active Comfort 2.1 - SQlab introduces the next evolutionary stage of active technology. The active movement 2.1 can be adjusted via the new switch function as of now in two stages and this is child's play.
• Adjustable - The switch function can be easily and quickly adjusted with just one movement.  Turn the adapter by 90° and the movement of the active system changes.
• Back friendly - Thanks to the active technology, the saddle follows the pedalling movement, comfort increases, the spinal discs are mobilized and the pressure on the sit bones is minimised.
• Connection for saddlebags - With the practical saddle adapter saddlebags can be easily and securely attached under SQlab active Comfort saddles 2.1.

Ergolux® More comfort- Less pressure - The wave-shaped elevation of the ERGOLUX® saddles, stretching from the rear to the front, perfectly matches the shape of the mostly bulbous ischial branches. The enlarged, less punctual contact surface ensures the best possible pressure distribution. The first step provides rearward support and ensures improved power transmission to the pedal. The second step optimally supports the ischial branches and distributes the pressure evenly. Due to the lowered saddle nose, the perineal and front area of the pubic bone and pubic arch have more free space.

Active- Saddle technology comfort - The proven SQlab active system allows the saddle to follow the pedalling movement, which increases the comfort, relieves the intervertebral discs and reduces the pressure on the sit bones. The active movement can be regulated via the new switch function, in two settings.
