SRAM GX Eagle Grip Shift

The new Eagle™ Grip Shift includes new, robust internals that make it even more durable and its shifting performance more precise. But just like the original, it is total control in the palm of your hand. The new Grip Shift mechanism takes SRAM’s original invention to an increased level of precision and durability with a better feel and added toughness.

The Jaws™ technology means that once the Grip Shift shifter and grip interlock securely, forged aluminium clamps on either end reinforce the assembly by locking tightly to handlebar.

Rolling Thunder™ technology uses three rows of ball bearings that provide zero friction or play —reducing the force needed to shift and promoting long-term performance under all weather conditions with Grip Shift.

Speed Metal™ technology sees that the full metal indexing keeps shifting crisp and precise with Grip Shift.

Developed specifically for SRAM 1x™, X-Actuation™ keeps shifting sharp and consistent across the entire cassette.

Thanks to the MatchMaker™ X integration you can put everything from your XLoc suspension lockout, your SRAM shifters and AVID brake levers as well as your Reverb XLoc remote, all on two clamps. Short of genetically engineering longer thumbs, it’s the ideal way to put everything within easy reach.
